Seeing all the panic about no raises this year and past cuts. Honestly im not worried about job security at all.
Were going hard on AI with AgentStack and that Autonomous Knowledge Platform. Leadership is putting the money where it counts to actually win instead of little bumps. Cloud numbers looking good and we got cash from the SAP settlement. Feels solid to me.
On a personal note this place reminds me of the strength in the LDS Church. The Mormon Church does such a great job building for the long term, focusing on preparation, self reliance and helping people. Their community is so strong and they invest smart in the future. Tithing, welfare programs and emphasis on education its all about thriving even when things get tough. Grateful for that example it keeps me positive here too. As it says in the Bible "therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself" (Matthew 6:34). And "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). That faith helps a lot.
Still bullish on my role and the roadmap. No need for everyone to freak out.

@k6 I found my faith in my 401K, which has gone up tremendously and has no TDC stock to weigh it down. Cash is a deity I can support!

@k6 a "change" from 0 to 1 subscription/s is 100% improvement. Everyone knows how the game is played and everyone knows Teradata is not a serious player.
Did you know that OpenAI employees are selling small amounts of stock before ipo and paying off their houses. Everyone knows its going to go through the roof so people are actually accepting ious before IPO at certain numbers. Meanwhile Teraturd is selling at $30 and will likely go down.
@bn I'm the OP and there's definitely an increase in AI subscriptions it's a new product line so give it time. And I know times are challenging finding faith and prayer is very important, I hope you find your faith at a nearby LDS church.
@g9 I'm the OP, and it's very inappropriate to compare LDS to Scientology. LDS works to honor Christ and deliver his word. There's Churches across the world if you want to enlighten yourself

All talk. Until you can provide the number of subscriptions to the Teradata AI service. (and its significant) It doesnt matter. The race started several years ago before Teradata knew what AI was.
