I was laid off roughly a year ago and it felt like the end of the world at the time. Now I'm in a better job with better pay and significantly better culture. Hang in there.

I worked at vzw forn18 yrs.
At first culture was good/ok
They used to tout culture.
Wondering when/why it went down.
In my experience it started about 10yrs ago. Got worse every year

I have been 2 years free of VZ after the layoff. Not even looking back. They still don’t have a good strategy or direction and to many AD’s and directors.
If you are for real - thank you for the well wish. I'm 8 months into decontamination from the constant VZ poison ingested over 25 years. it su-ks rocks not being employed - but I feel so good. Wishing the best and praying for all who got the axe, and for all those who did not.
