Market Share Loss is a Result of Years of Failed Portfolio Sales and Engineering Leadership

We have lost market share for years so now LFG has been rolled out moving many specialists to the portfolio teams. Are they replacing the failed portfolio sales and engineering leadership at all levels that are responsible for this.

@at+1kxy7v96c exactly. You can shuffle sales people around reorg after reorg, but as long as nobody fixes the poor product quality and abysmal execution there won't be any growth. With clowns like G2 or Liz at the helm, this ain't happening.

Digital transformation has allowed corporate to continuously claw back power from frontline sales.

It started with shifting from a territory-based model to named accounts, followed by stripping frontline reps of discounting authority, with Finance stepping in to demand RM endorsement, creating bottleneck after bottleneck.

Eventually, they even seized the narrative (just look at those CX and Virtual Sales leaders bragging in their reviews, taking all the credit as if they drove the numbers themselves).

With management this toxic, it’s no wonder sales performance is tanking.

The PSSes didn’t do sh-t and aren’t needed anyway so they’re making them do real jobs.

@OP yep 100%! its a fu--ing decade of sh-t products that cost WAY TOO MUCH. You can blame sales all you want, but when a portfolio seller manages to get the customer to over pay for a product with sub-par features and performance? THIS situation is the result.
