Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

FIS Buyout is soon

Heard that several companies are circling for merger / acquisition of FIS. This is the reason stock went from 38 to 41 as news was leaked and potential buyers stared accumulating stock from open market.
CapitalOne, Visa and Private Equity firm led by Silver Lakes partners have shown interest to buy.

Who said that they are selling it as a whole? I am pretty sure they will sell part of it, which is not banking-related.

To add: we've been hearing Visa rumors for years. Why would this time be any different?

Visa would only want banking and credit processing. Capital One is still trying to wrap up their Discover integration. Silver Lake might only want capital markets but I've been waiting to see which private equity would even want it.

And they're all supposed to play nice during this process?
