Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Is the EMC debt paid off now

I've not looked into the annual reports but do we know how this debt is doing given the company has never done so well on paper?

EMC is gone. Dell acquired them. Most of what was left are the B players and hangers on. Oh and the new youngsters with their ai slop scripts that once the customer throws a curve ball...and they always do, they are free in headlights. Learning on the job at the expense of the customer. F U Dell

Lol, it's the EMC segment of Dell that is pumping out all of the AI racks!

@OP I don't know but I do know that Dell drove EMC into the ground, like it does every acquisition. EMC isn't worth Jack squat now.

Judging by all the Silver Lake stock transactions this qtr I am going to guess its close to being paid for.

Thanks Chat:

Silver Lake's SL SPV‑2 and affiliated entities have sold about 1.15 million Dell shares in disclosed transactions over the past several weeks, with the latest reported sale being 63,095 shares on July 8, 2026.
