If you are leaving Centene which new industries are you looking at? Or are you staying in health care in one capacity or another? I am concerning leaving health care.

I'm staying in healthcare but going back to the hospital side as a case manager. Job security is my priority. 3 insurance companies, all 3 had major layoffs. I'm getting to old to worry about losing my job every other month!

No more healthcare for me. I've been a nurse for 28 years. I'm done. Life is too short.

I won’t work for another for profit MCO. I’m tired of the constant looming layoffs.
@OP for me healthcare isn't a career job anymore!! AI and offshore work given away makes it so undesirable. Gonna take some time off once im gone. What will I do?? I will find a way!! Hope others find thier way as well.
I'm leaving UM to go back to direct care therapy. I signed the vsp. I have no desire to work for another MCO.
I have been applying to every position that I think I can handle - health care, health insurance, training, project coordination, state jobs, pharma sales, etc. I have applied for over 30 positions since the VSP news dropped and only able to land 1 interview with another MCO so far.
