Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Ethics at this company are a d-mbster fire

The fact that she can get on an all-company townhall and just blatantly lie is wild. My faith in this company has fallen so far that I no longer even trust USB to manage my money. Have been transferring my and my parents accounts to other institutions. This townhall just strongly confirmed that decision.

@a5 @a4 here. Not disagreeing with you. But which bank does not do it today? Asking so I can move my money there.

@a4 Because ethics and integrity matter. A person willing to spin and lie to her employees is a person willing to do it with regulators, subordinates, other checks and balances, etc.

The playbook isn't hard to see. GK is strip mining the company to pull costs down and drive up profitability, but at the cost of the company itself. This is the usual McKinsey playbook. We'll have a few good years of running up the stock (and padding her golden parachute) and then she'll bounce before we crash and burn when everyone good has left and employee morale and productivity continue to plummet.
