If that is even true. I know you people don't want a two class society at USBank but leadership caused this mess. If remote employees can be grandfathered then past employees should have been given a route to become remote too.

@a1 I'm late enough in my career I don't necessarily want to keep role-hopping for more money, etc. I'm in a good place, work with a great team, and frankly, NONE of the jobs available in the hub I got randomly dumped in have any appeal. If I'm going to work for a financial institution, my preference is for roles (like the one I'm in now) that are pro-customer, not for milking them for every spare dollar to add to shareholder value, which is about the only other option here. So yeah, I'd take going back to full time remote in a heartbeat!
Grandfathered in to the available for termination category, the grandfathered may continue to work remotely, however, when on the list, the termination will have nothing to do with remote status such that the role in and of itself has not been grandfathered, just the ability to work remotely until you are no longer employed by U.S. Bank
There are no grandfathered remote emoloyees, perhaps some of the executives like that clown down in Florida that took our desktops away but if your an everyman remote worker I’m so so sorry but the end is near.
I'd forgo bonuses and take a pay cut. Quality of life matters more than money
@a1 I'm sure there are many that would be fine with it. If you wouldn't make the choice for yourself, that's fine but don't take that choices away from others because you yourself wouldn't want it.
@a1 I would gladly take my old dead end role back if it meant never having to commute again. I would take a pay cut to have my remote status back honestly. I would have never taken this role if I wasn't remote to start with.
The cost in money and time to commute just isn't worth anything that can give me.
Instead i'll just be fired for non-compliance I guess.
Who wants to be grandfsthered into a dead end role with no chance for movement because every other position is for a hub.
