Heard few people got emails at 9.00 and few will be getting at 11.00 ?

@at sorry to disappoint you buddy. But his tens of billions are safe in EchoStar Capital which has nothing to do with the failing stock of EchoStar. He’s laughing all the way to the bank. This is pure evil.
Senior and top executives at Hughes mostly gone. Many of us got the 9AM, the 10AM, the 11AM, the 12AM.
People are told they can leave now (which I did around noon) or stay a few days to help out to transition.
I feel bad for the visa holders because it seems many of them are sticking around for another week to help transition their work which they aren’t required too. But dangling the promise of cooperation on their visa related tasks, they’re being given the false impression that they have to if they want Hughes to cooperate w their visas.
Barebone skeleton crew is left to put out fires when the time comes. A sad day for all

Paul Gaske apparently pushed out today too. There will be basically no customer support left for the residential customers. Customer service, experience, procurement, inventory, engineering, SDG, enterprise billing, QA, etc all left with only a handful of people. VPs and SVPs basically all gone.
Are people still getting emails for next rounds?
@af correct. Pay and benefits will continue until end of September, but no longer need to report to work.

Does that mean that today is the last day, or they have time to transition? Under the warning Act, large firms during bankruptcy have to give 60 day notice for firings unless there are exceptions like unforeseen consequences that force them to do so. The market knew that we were going to the courts
@a7 did they state that explicitly? I haven't gotten an email but many of my teammates did.. wondering if I was missed or if I should expect an email next week

Vast majority being laid off. Some have already received emails and left, additional emails to go out next week.
