Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Are they still capping AI usage?

There was a thread here saying they were going to give everyone a ridiculous low budget.
At least 1 org was put under it and they had to put in for an exemption.
But I've seen mgmt recently asking for how we are innovating with AI again.
Which way is the wind blowing this week?
Are they capping or not?

From what I heard, gpt 5.6 costs were same for sol class.
though the luna and terra seem to be lower, but I never use those as I need higher iq for my dev work.
and there's more nonsense in the framework (security alerts for mundane cr-p that never got blocked before) and availability/capacity issues throughout the day.

FA org: caps are in place, but they raise them without much questions. I raised my cap as IC5 dev to tier 3 and it corresponds to my actual monthly usage, after I did all optimizations and implemented skills automating all my typical workflows.

NetSuite USA - we are encouraged to use it as productively as we can but need to prove our usage to productivity gains.

No. You are responsible for innovation with AI, while at the same time, working within and managing your budget.

@OP What if I tell you these mgmt people are confused clowns !! CL, who leads FA told caps are soon going to be introduced. One sub-org (MB) already has a $130 cap in place as we know.
I guess it changed when GPT 5.6 came and that reduced the bill . Personally for me it is 20% lesser than what it used to be. So may be they are re-evaluating or got a better deal with OPENAI.
