I’m not bothered about her fake enthusiasm, she’s new and trying to find what employees respond to.
I AM disappointed that she had 3 whole months to prepare a canned answer to the benefits question, and THAT was the answer she gave?
Meh - she took a swing and missed. Bigley. Tried to show excitement and understanding, came off like a clown.
Now, just needs to back off the caffeine and get to work not ignoring the employees concerns.

I think for the timing she has been here she did just fine!! You don’t expect someone to have a plan for 70k+ employees within 3 months of working in a position. Any benefit she proposes would have to be weighed before it is executed considering the financial state of the company.
I think it's just a matter of reading the room better, we are a bit more low-key and straight to the point at Intel. But she has an amazing record and Lip Bu is a proven good leader, he picked her so I will trust his criteria.
