Hands down one of the worst CEOs and humans I've seen walk this planet. I hope he enjoys his money because he can't take it to he-l with him. And what the he-l is the matter with Honeywell's board of directors for letting this go on since 2017. They ought to fire themselves.
It doesn’t seem to me like a stodgy HON lifer (VK) would be “in vogue” as the next CEO. The woke thing to do for DEI is to get a female and/or non-Asian minority.

Not arguing that the glass ceiling is gone just an observation. Also note that a LOT of the diversity hires for leadership moved on .. (QD , RF.. etc)

Seems to be a lot of change of positions at higher levels lately so I’m not surprised. Hope whoever replaces him actually gives a damn about the employees.
Keep in mind when DA announced VK position in July 2022 this was DA's statement:
"Change provides Honeywell Chairman and CEO Darius Adamczyk with additional flexibility to focus on overarching strategic and tactical objectives – with more time for business development, customer engagement and people development"
Translation:
Change provides Honeywell Chairman and CEO Darius Adamczyk with additional flexibility to focus on overarching personal compensation and tactical jobs and business destruction – with more time for schmoozing, golf and $500/bottle wine.
Well.....he did a fantastic smash and grab! Gotta give him that! He will just retire now after gifting himself one heck of compensation haul run. No fecks given that he near demolished a once highly respected American corporation!!
