Pat doesn't have the integrity to have an Elon moment -- the choice to wait until months after the initial layoffs were announced to decease pay, after telling employees initially that those initial headcount reduction actions were all that was needed, after telling employees rewards was only pushed one quarter, was to lull and trap more employees into staying at Intel as the external tech job market continued to soften. Managers are all currently being indoctrinated by HR to to have "stay" conversations with employees. Intel literally has no vision for the future. Pat is a charlatan - get out now.
