How would merging units violate accounting standards? Of course NOV can merge/separate business line as it makes sense to their operation and to help investors understand the business.

Can't do it for accounting purposes. Accounting standards require you to report splits in accordance with accepted standards. Merging CAPS and RIG would most likely make the company violate those rules.

Rumor or not, NOV can't sell a Rig in a decade, nor could it develop a solid roadmap to future business development. It's running like a dealership counting on spares and repairs. NOV will and must streamline their businesses by applications, like GE and other unimaginative top heavy dinosaurs. Oil and Gas will be one segment, Marine, and Renewables as others. This is what happens when "kiss my boot" culture overtakes performance based empowerment.

Wow that’s a very anti ISE sentiment, you must work in Breen if you feel that way ?

that is probably the best thing that could happen to CapS. ISe needs to be shut completely down. The horse whisper and the west point want a be have ran it into the ground

Would you happen to know what bathroom at parkwood? I occasionally ride my Segway out there and scope out the place. I hang out in the last stalls but have never heard such juicy info. Please share location.
