Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Get some help…

Most of the people on this board spend too much time worrying about “what if” and “worst case scenario”. Living your life consumed by fear and paranoia about what might happen at this company is unhealthy, soul crushing, and debilitating!

This is America go be what you want to be! You are free to do what you want in life!

No one is being forced to stay!

Its good to share information like what to do or any organizational efforts. Remember when people used this board to share about Sara Blackwell and her efforts to expose the rebadging shenanigans. Ended in a Fox News spot. That was fun.

You realize you are talking to the Covid terrified far left AOC type employees, right? They live in fear everyday. They are consumed with worry from what everyone else is doing that may harm them or is offensive to their wittle feewings…

“You realize you're on thelayoff.com, yes? Maybe you shouldn't be here if you're so upset by speculation about, ahem, layoffs.“

Not upset just how amazed how asset management and security can be so ignorant at how they treat other humans. How you can come to a site where people could be hurting and looking for help to tell them to get some mental help and to leave if they are unhappy.

I hope someday the realize how ignorant that it is and just doing your job doesn’t cut it so the company looks good.

Looks like the company can’t handle the truth getting out on how Att is ran.

I recommend anybody working there thinking they will retire happily and never be a target for layoffs you are mistaken. I would highly recommend finding another company that is managed better which won’t be hard. Att thinks it can do what it wants with you because they give you decent pay. There are other companies that pay better don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.

Go with a company that is winning not att because it is only a matter of time for att.

Their guaranteed government/corporate contracts will not save them in the long run.

I would not rely on any so called retirement benefits either because as you see they will change them on a whim.

Good luck everyone and I will say a prayer for the op and hope they can change their ways.

It's called complacency and down right laziness. Besides, T pays very well! Techs making $100k-125k per year would never make that kind of money at any other company. The money is just too hard to walk away from!
