I wish I could retire. I’ve been abused at WF for more than 20 years, but now I’m tainted by the stink of this place. I think all banks are awful to work for. I think I may start a side hustle and see if I can grow it.

Heard a senior leader in my group dropped notice today. Guess the bonus hit the account.

This is @fhv+1l1z9Quk. I'm good to my word. Just formally announced my retirement with my boss.

I'm so excited. I plan on using the floating holiday and making a long weekend out of President's day and then putting in my notice as soon as I get back. I'm trying to do as little work as possible between now and then. Once I put in my two weeks notice I plan to do even less work. I'm trying to get well rested before my March vacation!

Yeh but then the balloon popped. Did you have insurance on it? You likely didn’t get a raise enough to cover the cost of replacement but china might give you a deal on one if you fly it.

I did. Shared with my manager that I will be leaving on March 1st so I have benefits for the entire month. Will start looking for "what's next" after I've left. Want to take some time away to decompress from all the WF "things" that have been frustrating to deal with.

I took a new role in another company in January. My start date is set for mid-Feb. I put in 7 days off. I just turned in my notice today, will work today and tomorrow, then PTO until start of new job.

"FYI, your bonus has to be less than $50k to make it economical to leave day after bonus. Otherwise you lose unvested compensation."

If you have unvested stock, then the future employer buys it out (with a comparable amount of restricted stock in the new company, or cash). So it's not a barrier to quitting once the cash is in hand.

@1ljo, there are also WF trolls on this board who are doing quite well (same with all other The Layoff boards - at least in the financial services space - I imagine). FYI, your bonus has to be less than $50k to make it economical to leave day after bonus. Otherwise you lose unvested compensation.

Tomorrow. It's a few of us actually. Feel bad for my boss honestly, but more $$$, wfh, actual positive news in this new company.

Same percent as every year far less than 1. If you go by this board that percentage should be 50 percent of more. Same list of people who do very little complain a great deal especially about RTO then cannot figure out why they are inconsistently meet or barely a meets while then whining about their bonus or what the guy running the bank makes. Focus on your role and what you can do better and it is probably not your managers fault.

I put in my two weeks notice due to RTO. Just waited for the bonus check to hit my account. I do not work with anyone on my team at my location and spend my day talking to people in different time zones and writting reports. That gives the bank two or three hours a day fo extra work due to no commute.

No cold feet here. Sent my boss an email at 9:00 am that I had taken another position outside the bank and my start day was Monday. It's not but was hoping for a little time off. My access disappeared at 2:14 pm. I called the help desk and was told my access could not be reinstated. Oh well. No response to my email nor any other communication. I think he knew. :)
