Thread regarding First American Corp. layoffs

Blessing

My previous comment was intended to help people that got layed-off realize that things weren't as good as advertised. My situation and how bad things were for me at the time did not seem like a blessing. I was supposed to quit but hung on and worked through it. I had to have a mindset and a different way of thinking to overcome a hatred toward me that was so strong that even my business was being sabotaged. Even though I would never want to see my superiors and co-wokers ever again, I thank them for giving me this experience. I was able to overcome great adversity and truly understand this was a blessing in disguise.

It always felt like my Managers were programmed like The Stepford Wives.
They hide behind this veil of keeping things positive yet they always find things you need to improve on.
So your performance never feels good enough.
And yes, the Micromanaging is insane.

I agree - the managers are horrible. Never positive feedback. Always about what you did wrong and that you took took too long to do report. I haven’t seen a workplace like this in years. They should be investigated for workplace conditions. No one should have to work like this . They are not the best company to work for. How they got this title is beyond me . They make you fill out paperwork while you are working there. People are too afraid to say anything because of fear they will lose their job . So the report is false. WORST PLACE TO WORK - unless you are a machine

I do believe it was a blessing for me too . I have never worked for managers like this company has . I have worked for 40 years . Micromanaging, degrading , condescending, NO positive feedback ever. People should not have to work like this with so little pay .
