FIS layoffs and trying to keep afloat

$500million in cuts is what Ferris plans for the up coming year. Instead of laying off talented and valuable employees that are the back bone of FIS, how about a 10% pay cut for the C-suite? Lets be real here, I get by comfortably on a $70k salary, where the cost of living is ridiculously high, as a single mother with no debt. Nice house, nice car, food, along with money for fun. However if i were to lose my job i would be screwed. Sure I'd be able to find a new job but that's even questionable with the mass layoffs we ate seeing in the tech industry. I'd be up against 57k people who are very talented. Sounds like a fun time!

I'm sure cutting back huge salarys and selling the new HQ building could save a lot of jobs. Thousands of jobs. Jobs that people need inorder to survive. But that is just nonsense in the capitalist money hungry corporate world. Cut my salary to only $1mill a year? How dare that even be said out loud! (rolling my eyes).

It would be nice to see a CEO and other c-suite exects that displays compassion, empathy and selflessness (aka being a decent human being). We all know that's a far cry, most if not all big company top expects are narsasists or psychopaths. It's a strange world that we live in. You cant change other people, only yourself. But it's OK to bring light on the reality of these jerks. Time to move on.

The stock is dropping like box of rocks. Ferris won't survive this situation and neither will the company. McKin*** Future Forward campaign yet again painful! However, they keep getting contracts, which is nuts.

What is sad is those that are staying around are the worst - they stay to try and reach retirement age and won't rock the boat in any way.. if anyone does try to raise concerns and dare to try to fix things, they will be immediately added to "the list" because they are seen as a malcontent and not a pandering, political, lemming. The executive "team" does not know how to lead and can't seem to create an engaging vision of change or transformation to save their life. There were high hopes but if this company does not transform quickly, there are others in the market ready to easily absorb market share.

You know the new FIS Motto..... "Stephanie's Way". What a joke. Says we put the need to provide great customer support then lays off people needed to support our customers.

Re: the aforementioned Ferris Fun Facts scavenger hunt: PLEASE. Someone give me those minutes of my life back. You watch Yellowstone, and your favorite color is pink. Got it. Frankly, it’s appalling that they’re trying to pass off this nonsense while laying off good people. Nothing to celebrate here.

A CEO with no ties to Norcross would be ideal. Ferris should be interim CEO so that the board and shareholders could look within and outside the company for an ideal leader. She is not ideal in any way, there is nothing grand or unique about her. After that waste of time Fun Facts Ferris scavanger hunt, I can't grasp how such a basic and boring individual managed to land FIS CEO. Yes get rid nix the private jets and cut the c-suite pay to $1mill per year (that is more than enough to still be in the "rich" category). A real leader would take a hit in order to save the company and the high talent that makes it tick. I'll bet FIS starts selling off parts of the company because after the layoffs all lines of business will be running at a low level which will have a huge negative impact when it comes to financial growth.

Stephanie's getting essentially the same comp package as Gary did. Why?? She's an entry level CEO! Does she deserve 15-20 million a year? Give her 5 and save 10-15 million right there. Who needs more than 5 million a year anyway?

10% salary cut will save $10 million which is 100 people
Should Stephanie stop using company jet to go back and forth to Cincinnati every day and all the c suite boys stop flying around in 3 company jets and save another 250 jobs

This place has termites at the top. Board should look at books for last 2 years

Maybe others have a different experience, but for our team, layoffs so far seem to have hit at random, including some of the best performers on the team
Theyre definitely cutting more than just "the fat"

They should keep all those who are very productive and let go of people who are simply too lazy and not motivated enough to work at all. Basically they do the bare minimum and take advantage of the company while so call working at home.
