HR and engineering are also suffering casualties. I think that this will truly be a company-wide thing and that no group will remain whole before it's all over.

What engineering teams? Is it development team like FSDS?
sales is looking a bit rough... got my ticket punched bright and early at 9am
Of course leadership teams are safe, they usually are. Question is, will powers that be ever realize that there are entirely too many ineffective leaders who take the largest share of payouts and do little to nothing for teams or the overall business? Lots of money savings to be had cutting excess leaders that could actually help the bottom line and save some important functions as a result. Win/win, no?
ELT isn't necessarily safe. Howard Elias left. He had a CxO title.
