Several of the SF leaders (VPs, RVPs and SVPs) were so glad that she left SF after the damages were done there. Same SF racetrack and probably the same amount of damages that were done here. She transformed the company alright. Lol
Time spent at WH is time not spent torpedoing CX. Win-win
Pretty clear which side we are in bed with. Welcome home.
So many folks here in denial. I see this as a huge shut up to folks who bash Cisco and Maria's org CX 🤷🏻♂️
This is a testament to the quality she brings to the table at Cisco.
Hey hey ... Tell me how many of your COOs have been nominated by the president, beetches? 😁 Democrat or Republican - either one
Will President Biden have to write a V2MOM?
She will fit right in with the clowns in the White House.
Advisory Committee
She's not leaving Cisco

She sure transformed CX. They're now called ONEx and she was instrumental in cutting the org to cut costs. She was hired to cut costs and she succeeded at that. Not much of a transformation though.
Winners get to write history. She won, you lost.

diversity and inclusion are more important than performance and expertise
President Biden today announced his intent to nominateCisco Chief Operating Officer Maria Martinez to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC), which provides industry-based analyses and recommendations to the Executive Office of the President (EOP) on how the government can enact policy for, or take actions to enhance, national security and emergency preparedness (NS/EP) telecommunications.
Cisco COO Maria Martinez said:"As the worldwide leader in technology that powers the internet, Cisco is redesigning and securing the core networks that keep us connected and that power critical infrastructure essential to economic and social well-being. Strengthening the security, resiliency, and reliability of America's communications infrastructure will require increased public-private collaboration, and I look forward to joining my fellow NSTAC members in advising the president on 21st-century solutions to enable a secure and digital future."
NSTAC is composed of up to 30 presidentially appointed senior executives who represent various elements of the telecommunications industry. The committee advises the president on a wide range of issues related to telecommunications, information systems, information assurance, infrastructure protection, and other NS/EP concerns.
