This is the new bar - for something as serious as employee on employee r@pe.
Almost a year.
In the meantime, the bank allowed this poor woman be subject to continued harassment.
Wells Fargo “did close to nothing to actually investigate” the ra-e allegation, the lawsuit alleges. The bank also failed to probe her complains of se-ual harassment, it was alleged.
Consider this next time you have a manager issue or situation that needs you to call the ethics line for some reason.
Employee concerns - including r@pe - are non-issues to Wells Fargo.
"Doe says Wells Fargo did not begin its internal investigation in earnest until she made a formal charge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in April 2021, five months after her internal complaint to the company. "
“Our client was taken advantage of and ra--d by a superior, suffering trauma, betrayal, and an utter invasion of personal space that no one should be subjected to in any workplace,” the plaintiff’s attorney, Ron Zambrano of West Coast Trial Lawyers, said in a statement. “Wells Fargo’s response, just sitting on their hands and dragging their feet not even attempting to conduct a competent investigation, is absolutely unacceptable.”
Wells Fargo management thinks they can get away with mu---r - or at least r@pe...because they can.
I wonder if a manager shot an employee if that would be investigated either.
