None. Wells Fargo makes at least a $2 billion Profit EVERY QUARTER
A lot of waste on the tech side could keep jobs while saving money:
- Clearly define roles and responsibilities
- Allow managers to actually manage and improve their skills at managing
- Improve accountability for those in mgmt/lead roles
- Rally around a solution and drive it home
- Go back to strategic thinking instead of myopic task driven reactionary work
- Stop throwing around words like Agile and Product Ownership and commit resources to allow technology to take advantage of the potential there. Agile doesn't mean "do it fast and sloppy".
- Trust your technology professional to be professionals and enable them. Remove the silos that over-micromanage risk
Since cuts are the only remedy Chucky knows to use in situations like this.
