Exec told our team that March (likely 3/23) will be large-scale layoff. This exec is in the know. Brace yourselves.

Never heard of correspondent. What do they do?
The 3/23/2023 Layoff date is a fact everyone! This round will be a significant one. Headcount will be cut by 4 digits “x,x-x”. Possibly even 5 digits “xx,x-x” this round. I truly hope all affected individuals find greener pastures. For those chucklers that maybe happy, don’t gloat. This is going to affect many families and individuals lives. To those impacted. Just remember there are a lot of open job’s out there. Keep your heads up, and know you're worth more $$ than you currently make.
You cannot Opt to being laid off LOL I did try. My boss for more then a decade was laid off in July. I keep getting shuffled around. My friend was supposed to be laid off on 2/23/23 but her group was let go last week. Keep hope alive! If you have no office to return to, you are probably next. Yes some of us can't RTO because we have no office. Good luck trying to find a job that will pay you like Wells Fargo.
With all the layoffs the forced ranking policy of having a certain % on a team be "Needs Improvement" is getting to be slim pickings. Makes the employees work AGAINST each other, rather than with each other. WHO now on the teams will be selected in the forced ranking bell curve to be the NEW "Needs Improvement" and soon to be laid off winners?
Sociopaths galore! Hahahaha!
Fake News. You people are sociopaths
5k?! In one area? I’ve never even heard of this group. But I am not in mtg.
Correspondent is busy shutting down all processes with a deadline of end of March. Only a skeleton crew will remain after that. I think that will account for 5000+ of the layoffs.
I wish layoffs were like playing dodgeball -- I'd certainly be hit.
"let me take a sip of da koffee"
SVB is Saul?
SVB is the initials of an executive who runs a department.
What is SVB?
I've heard two waves - one in March and another in July. There will be layoffs across the SVB organization.
bring it the fu-k on
To those looking to volunteer subtly:
Call your boss a cu-t, you'll move to the front of the line.
There are so many of us who will volunteer for severance, has anyone asked HR if that’s an option?
Dir. here, I said this in early Dec. as I was on a call with a bunch of execs from corp. sec., corp prop., insider threat, etc. in the thousands…
Expel the entire risk team.
start with the FRTOers,

I also would like to know are they excepting volunteers for the delay offs? I'm so ready.
Layoffs have been non stop. They just spread them out as to not draw attention. I know of quite a few waves that have hit my area but it’s always done piecemeal so they think people won’t notice. Doubt they will continue with large layoffs that draw attention and instead will continue with the small waves.
Marketing is safe. So I’m told.
is there a way to raise your hand and self select?
One can pray the impacted people are those of us that have been working around the clock to clean up all of the control issues across Consumer Lending. God knows the best news for us is getting a package to leave and find a better company to work for. Who wants to continue on the RCSA work demands! Take more and more from people. Talk about a hostile work culture that no one should be subjected too.
GD it, good luck everyone!
Can you please say which division?
