Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Does anyone trust Pat anymore?

Anyone? Bueller?

A CEO who has lost the trust of his team is just walking the plank. Guy is toast.

Stealing from his employees while giving his buddies a little trim off the top seals it.

BK’s probably got a nice little hideout to host failed CEOs, swindled from Intel R&D and marketing funds, and replete with a ha--m of office bimbos, to put him up in until he finds another company in need of a government bailout to pilfer from.

He is squarely responsible for irresponsible hiring.

Pat is a good cheerleader, but he is no leader.

Fanatical is not a trait you want you turnaround leader to be.

You want a passionate, logical, data driven and grounded leader.

A leader who insults his competitors and makes boasts with little to no humbleness makes me wonder about his real faith. He screams of disingenuous every time I listen to the guy, almost bad bad as BK

I believe that for anyone to be a CEO and lead a big company, it should be such an honor. It is definitely hard work. No question. You get old really fast, and you are always stressed out.

But it still should be more of an honor. BK was such a trash guy. I cant believe he lost the manufacturing lead and kept denying it.

Pat has so much energy. But he sure missed the opportunity to make a statement by dropping his pay to 10%. He should have taken a huge cut.

Yes, its not all his fault that we are in such situation. Yes, technically he didnt deserve to lose 90% pay. But boy that would have made a big statement. Taking one for the team. Showing true commitment and inspiring the troops.

He is deluded
His leadership team know it but instead of daring to question him, they just shout “bring it on”. I was at an Open Forum with him and his smiling henchwoman CB and it reminded me of what you are at a Chinese Communist Party Congress ….. in Mao’s time. He is a maniac, obsessed with his early days at Intel . There was a reason he was passed over back in the mid noughties

Pat the false prophet - no vision outside of regaining the glory days of the past with no path outside of empty rhetoric.

Employees now tithing to support the dividend.

Pat might be too attached to the IDM model, a model that requires BOTH good product design and good manufacturing. A look in the mirror would be enough to convince anyone that this is an impossible task. A person who is religiously committed to IDM would drive the company into bankruptcy.

This is a classic Kodak moment. Has there been any case where a company recovered just by doing the same thing better?

The special thing about Intel is the enormous burn of the fabs. It's not going to gradually die like Xerox. The destruction here will be explosive.
