Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Anybody notice what Cramer said about SVB?

Jim Cramer said a month ago that people should buy Silicon Valley Bank. Look at it today. Wasn't it 1-2 months ago he said that people should buy Honeywell? With DairyA-- as a guest? I sold 50% of my Honeywell at $215 after the Jim Cramer piece. I think I need to get out completely now. It's looking more and more like Honeywell is a shell game.

Woe betide those who invest based on the rantings of a television huckster.

Moneywell may not have exposure to SVB, but you can bet that DA will somehow work it into the 1st quarter excuses for poor performance.

No significant exposure. Some of the investors into honeywell may have minor holdings but SVB and Signature are really small potatoes. This is fallout from the crypto bubble.
Dont worry papa biden will be passing the plate so that we can pay for those id--ts toys and parties. I mean that literally.. law says any losses will be paid by asssessing the fdic member banks .. who will in turn get it from your account in the form of fees. It is the law.

Remember to follow the Cramer-ites and sink all your assets into S&P index funds!

Welcome to the inevitable end of every fractional banking system ever invented. Over and over the result is the same.
Can’t wait to see the back room deals that happened this weekend to stop the bank runs. Taxpayer money at work.. your money going to pay off rich venture capitalists because otherwise the card house comes apart.
I predict a volatile but not catastrophic day Monday.. the printing presses are already running.

Once upon a time, in a village, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each. The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them. The man bought thousands at $10 and, as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He further announced that he would now buy at $20 for a monkey. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again. Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each, and the supply of monkeys became so small that it was an effort to even find a monkey, let alone catch it! The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on behalf of him. In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers. "Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected. I will sell them to you at $35, and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each." The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all the monkeys. They never saw the man nor his assistant again, only monkeys everywhere! Now you have a better understanding of how Wall Street works.

Agreed, you have to recognise that what is going on at Honeywell is a form of asset stripping. Those still in a job are really just janitors until the stock pump meets its inevitable end, soon there will just be a shell left and a LOT of unemployed people just standing there wondering what the heck happened!

If I remember correctly, he is David Cota neighbor. So when it comes to Honeywell, I don’t think he’s a good source because he’s gonna believe the propaganda from David.

Honeywell is already venturing into a new business. I work in the aerospace division. They’re getting close to relocating more aerospace divisions. In order to increase the stock price. Cheaper, labor, and cheaper taxes. Keep the stock and dividends pay going. It also keeps the management bonus rolling in.

When is no longer works. They will start selling individual aerospace units off. When they sold off Golden Valley, Minnesota. It was in such bad shape. Resideo File a lawsuit against Honeywell because he lied about their finances and other issues.

In the meantime. Expect plant closures, layoffs, RIF, and working a lot of overtime to cover the people they got rid of. So if you’re in a low-cost region, and a right to work state. Honeywell will be coming to your state. Boy do I feel sorry for you guys.
