Two of our managers bailed on us in the past couple of weeks, and they both left on their own terms. One jumped ship to another plant while the other straight-up quit. It's got me thinking, do they know something we don't? Is there something going on that the rest of us don't know about?

The whole reduce bracket thing is stupid and unrealistic. Of course, there’s a ton of brackets because there are thousands of combinations of all components, complex designs, and thousands of engineering/manufacturing/etc. requirements. I’ve been hearing about stupid brackets since 2000 and Jack the Kn--e. How about they reduce management?

If 2 of your Mgrs bailed, then yes, they know something and likely have for quite sometime. Long enough to get their resumes out and get new jobs.
End of February there was a big effort to close all open reqs. Layoffs are coming.
Just heard that a group I use to work with has been reduced from 18 to 3 heads, the jobs have been off-shored. Talking to someone who was their customer, and they said when requested they no longer get support from IT. I wonder how much longer the company can survive.
