Analytic Manager - SUPER hard job

Analytic managers have super hard jobs.

They have to attend meetings.

SUPER hard job.

If I see an MBA listed in the signature line, it tells me that they went to a tier 4 school, which is meaningless. The market is saturated with them. It also indicates that they have a chip on their shoulder and are desperate to be taken seriously. As the kids would say, it’s thirsty.

People with highly-rated MBAs don’t list their credentials in a signature. Show me a Stanford or Harvard MBA who does that.

Given that I know of at least 3 analytic managers that can't actually perform any kind of analytics let alone code and pull data themselves, I'd have to agree with OP.
What a joke this place has become, so glad I have 2 interviews this week and can likely get out soon. I just feel bad for those teammates I'm leaving behind.

My boss granted himself a MBA for free from a top 50 college.

If Lori Loughlin had worked in finance, she would have saved money and time, with a few extra MBAs to boot.

@kbp+1lErZllE You left off the MBA in the signatures. My boss has that in his. Is it relevant to his role, no. Did he get online at some paper mill, yes.

What’s next? GED? BSc?? Keep it in LinkedIn where the bloatware is expected.

The only honest job titles are the entry level positions. Everything in corporate world up from that is subject to interpretation. It is also where you pad your email signature with useless certifications.

If OP has to deal with winners like you, it is indeed a very hard job

Your millage may vary, but most analytics teams are entirely from China
Just like CNN always predicted, American stops learning analytics. DEI never feels so right
