Ford announced this week that it is recalling more than 1.2 million of its vehicles over a serious issue with its brake fluid hoses.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Ford Fusions and Lincoln MKZs sold between 2013 and 2018 have an issue where the front brake hoses may rupture and leak brake fluid.
Ford Quality is F*%KED up and the "Just in Time" BS does not help. Three weeks to schedule a brake line replacement, that is ridiculous.
Had one of mine blow while waiting for prescriptions at Walgreens. It was so bad the brake pedal went straight to the floor. So glad I wasn’t driving in traffic at the time. Had it towed home, called dealership - 3 weeks to get in minimum. AutoZone and $20 later I’m good to go. Sent the fubar part to Jimmy car car and told him to donate $20 to charity.
