Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Which group(s) are to be impacted for the bi-monthly layoffs?

So far this year, every 2 weeks there seems to be layoffs. Though the company only announces internally the quarterly craft numbers, per the contract. Most other layoffs I’ve heard about have been posted on this site.

Let your management team know you are interested in leaving with a severance offer, then tell them they are incompetent bo--s and can go stick it. You may get on the surplus list.

Let your management team know you are interested in leaving with a severance offer, it should be listed in your contract if you are craft. They can then target your reporting location for surplus.

I'm a tech in an OOR area of the country. I hope I don't have to wait until the first quarter of 2024 to get laid off! I want to be laid off some time in the 2nd or 3rd quarters or even ASAP will work! There certainly is a madness to T's method!
