Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Manufacturing failure

Supposedly major components of meteor lake are intended to be manufactured at TSMC, while arrow lake (next gen after meteor lake) will be manufactured primarily at TSMC.

A brain dead monkey could identify critical problems throughout TMG, vertically and horizontally… yet the management remain egotistical, self-absorbed, delusional. The 2023 goals are unrealistic, and undeniable lack of competitiveness with Intel fabs.

Is there a reason the same names repeatedly pop up (though shuffled a bit) within the manufacturing group? Why doesn’t or can’t Intel replace the incompetent already?

why so surprised? The decision of utilizing TSMC was already made in 2020.
BTW, arrow lake also seems delayed.
