We all know where things are headed. Just do it now and admit that IDM2.0 is flaming hot disaster. IDM as a business model is past its expiration date. Intel should have seen this coming decades ago. But that required visionary CEOs.

It might be easier now that the founder is gone.
This maybe the real reason why the stock is up.
i've been saying this since 2015 when tsmc pulled ahead of intel. all we're doing now is seeing how much shareholder value intel bod and elt can pi-s away before the inevitable. and they are doing a wonderful job of pi----g it away.
