Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Calm before storm?? HBT

As soon as they announced new CEO for HBT, and many leaders already left collecting pay checks and bonus last week.
It is really silent at HBT, Like some real bad news is at horizon.
Anyone knows something about this?

HBT here. A package would welcome as I’m living a nightmare now. I’ve never seen so many people leave a company as fast as I see people bailing now. Working on joining that exodus myself. The people left are really struggling to keep it together. Well. The low level people that are tasked with the work are struggling. Management seems oblivious.

As a former long term HBT employee who now works for a competitor, I’m loving hearing about this house of cards.

Honeywell presents. Unfortunate events.

Just replace the words with what’s happening to you, and what our company is doing. Then you will see the sense of humor in the sung. Every day I try to look away. In fact, I try to run away. Still looking for a new job.

My fellow Honeywell employees. Just look, go away, look, go away.

If I had software that I could manipulate the words with, the song would be pretty funny.

I’m pretty sure aerospace. Minneapolis will be on this list. My state has super high taxes. The pay is too high, so I expect them to relocate jobs. They will move one line at a time to another location until aerospace. Minneapolis is closed down. This is all they will get around the warn act.

Even the Minneapolis taxes are too high. I’m pretty sure the land where my building is located. With a lot more money than the old rundown building we have. Some developer will pick up the land and tear down the old building Even though it’s a super funded site. The government will pick up the tab.

I expect in the next 3 to 5 years. Maybe, even less Honeywell will no longer be in its founding state.

Appointing VK to CEO is not good news. Expect more of the same until there is no company left to offshore (decimate).

Something is definitely coming down too much shuffling going on. Also a lot of the same emails and rules have come out just like in October..Pcard use, hiring freeze, and overtime approval next up furloughs, RIF, and site closures gonna be a bumpy 2023

Check calendars. Compare HR with directors. Compare other directors and legal.
NDA (non disclosure agreement) projects are easy to spot.
Directors that have tons of meetings that dont involve their staff ... special projects.
Especially if there were recent site visits.
Remember that NOBODY below director matters to corp.
directors are individual contibutor for the leadership teams.

An SPS director from my site (not the one I work for either, that one is just a FM rat) recently said the same to me!

Something big is in the works. My gut feeling is my site will be closed. Small SPS design center in SNJ.

Waiting for my severance at this point.

SPS is feeling very similar, super weird vibes at the moment.
I think it is all related and about to unfold very soon.
A nice senior director from another team (you couldn't trust a single word from my own director) has quietly told me to start looking for a new job but wouldn't share why. He is a very respectable guy, take that as you like.
