Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Shareholder voting

It is always very telling what the board doesn't want passed- "annual report on prevention of workplace harassment and discrimination" board recommends against.
Kinda puts those anti-harassment and anti-discrimination classes we just took into perspective.

"Policy on Freedom of association and collective bargaining" board recommends against. Believe what you want about unions, the fact the board doesn't want you to have the power to form or use one should be a red flag.

Those trainings also tell us to hire the best candidate for the job but we all know that’s not happening.

Best not to read too much into those things. If the board thought something was a good idea they would already be doing it. If it's coming from the outside it's now an external imposition that has to be managed. Even if it's a great idea, better off to create your own version from the inside.

People don't want to hear the cold hard truths about working in corporate. WF pays me to sit down and take courses on their time, not mine.

Click, click, next. Done. Exit course.

Whatever the board says to vote “For”, I ALWAYS vote “Against”. The only thing the board cares about is lining their pockets and looking out for themselves. They will absolutely not hesitate to roll over whoever they need to make that happen. Corporate wealth is always built on the backs of others. They don’t call it a pyramid scheme for nothing.🤷🏻

Just do your job. If you don’t like the environment or job then leave and find something you like. Bunch of whiny babies
