Ford HRb delayed. They are dreading the next layoffs because their costs going way up. Alight charges based on usage. 3000 layoffs in August cyst the company millions in all the calls to Alight. They are trying to negotiate higher call volumes at a lower rate before pulling the trigger.

It takes a lot to fire people. Management wanted to do it this past week. HR said you have to wait, we aren't ready.

It's coming!

Hey F150 guy.... what happened? Could it be that they forgot to send out the email firing people? Is outlook down? Did Farley change his mind? Or is it that you are a sc-mbag troll who gets his jollys out of getting people upset?

@sxy since when does not saying something (cuts) mean something won't happen? Do you think no one asked about cuts? They pick what they want to answer, and are avoiding the topic. The exception is when someone on the live crowd has the nerve to ask a tough question, to which the the usual non-answer comes out.

@sxy+1lLO9FX - what planet are you living on? No cuts? Are you kicking kidding me? You must be just out of college. Have you read the news? Have you seen what GM is doing? Did u listen when Farley said we have 25% more people and he can’t afford to be 25% less efficient?

Must be nice to live in lala land.

Ford+ transformation is underway. Whatever is needed to advance it will be done. That said, there was no mention of layoffs in todays townhall. That was straight from our highest levels of leadership. Trust your ears please. No cuts.

We all agree layoffs are imminent, otherwise, we wouldn't be refreshing this page so vigorously. Not to mention everyone around me is grumpy and worried.

This site is useless and cannot provide any real info on layoffs until the day it happens. My advice, just do your job or find a new one outside of Ford. F-150 guy has zero clue and this is just bull!

Comments are funny. People don’t read here because they believe things are great.

The co is much smaller … Smaller every year. Largely nonexistent in markets they once owned.

SE Mi is not back in the office full time. Many buildings have been sold. The plan is to offshore, it takes a while so be patient.

Believe whatever … the data says one thing in the big picture. Remember this … look out for yourself. Don’t ignore reality.

Ford can’t afford to pay severance. They are trying to come up ways to fire people without paying
