Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

There’s nothing wrong in working your wage

I hate to see people break their backs for a company that doesn't compensate them properly for their work. It is important to recognize the value of your time and effort and to learn to work for a fair wage that reflects your skills and contributions. By working for your wage, you are not stealing or being lazy. You ensure that you are compensated appropriately for your work and that you are not giving away your labor for free. That's it.

Do what's in your job description. Nothing more.

Maybe the change for the 2023 STI will reward working above and beyond but in the past it definately did not at least for a 7V. Business score meant more than everything else and getting a leading got me 110% vs maybe 95% for performing? I so regret bothering to try so hard and working so many extra hours for so long.

Pay raises below inflation are a sign that all of u have been quietly fired which causes quiet quitting.
Which means the dividend will be cut

Couldn’t agree more. You want me to go above and beyond then pay me above and beyond.
