Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Did you receive your proxy voting materials for WFC shareholder meeting April 24??

I can’t help but notice that the Board recommends VOTING FOR Re-Election of all named Directors and VOTING AGAINST all Shareholder Proposals.

That should tell shareholders (and employees) everything they need to know: WFC is run by a group of self-interested arrogant close-minded and outdated individuals who are driven by domination and control. Our Board openly has zero interest or respect for shareholder (and employee) concerns.

As a Well Fargo Employee, you are an important stakeholder in potentially 3 roles: Employee
Shareholder,
and Customer.

Use your collective power to vote them all out

got mine and voted. Everything board recommended I voted no and everything they were against i voted yes, the problem is the board, our executives, and some large institutional investors own the bulk of the shares so us little guys have very little say

Board recommended for so I voted against and vice versa. Bunch of self serving crooks.

I voted against all members of the board and against the suggested compensation. They are earning millions and work less than most employees.

I always take the board’s suggestions on how to vote my shares as a suggestion to do the opposite. You actually can be a profitable company without enabling exploitation and disabling transparency. Their suggestions show an overall fear of loss of control. Greed is a He-l of a dr-g.

“That’s common/nothing new/we have no control.”

WOW. It’s a good thing the lot of you weren’t in control during the Revolution, etc. We’d all be speaking British. LOL

Sorry OP, this is how the majority of people are today. I’ve had the same conversations/experience and they don’t want to read it and they don’t care.

@equ Do you call the board openly reporting on pay gaps and how they handle r@p3 accusations “political activism?” I think it speaks to the leadership skills and culture of our company. If you consider it political, that tells me a lot about you.

Have you read the shareholder proposals? They’re from people who own basically 100 shares who use it as a forum for political activism.

That's common for all proxy votes, not just WFC

That’s nothing new, more of the same. Don’t think I have ever seen them recommend a shareholder suggestion.

Institutions own the majority of shares, we have no control.
