RTP is closing down completely, i heard
CCIE lab isn't relevant anymore. Cisco doesn't want customers using CLI. They want all GUI tools (APIC, DNAC, SDA, vManage, Meraki) with subscriptions behind them. Hard to charge a yearly subscription for CLI. Put a fork in CCIE/CCNP, its done. Cisco Press books have also slowed down a bunch. Rarely see them in Barnes and Noble anymore.
Georgia is way too hot and humid for golfing.
Bulk of learning/cert labs from RTP moving to Richardson as far as I know. Texas will be the main lab for certs, training/learning.
Some RTP labs now being used as LaaS as bunch of San Jose bldgs, labs were recently sold. SJC days as main hub for demos, high profile customer engagements, etc.. are numbered.
Atlanta is slowly being prep as the new HQ. Golfer paradise.
