Nice of Saul to share the responsibility for destroying Technology. Their fates will be the same. To use wave, you need some kind of machine. Company supplied kiosk/NUC or BYOD. Kiosks and NUCs need to be imaged. Can’t do that when COSMIC is broken. BYOD… one key logging/screen capture virus away from compromised creds. Sure, 2fa takes care of external connection, but you can bring those creds to the office and blow everything up from the inside. Just walk in to the office. Any NUC will do. They don’t need 2fa. Share holders are happy when you reduce costs, but not when you burn it down

@1nup+1lNHHX78 how could ANY firm use COSMIC? It was developed in WF more than a decade ago. In all that time, there have been several attempts to replace it by other groups. SCCM failed. OSD failed. COSMIC images physical windows hardware for the enterprise across every LOB. Each of which has their own requirements (software and legal). Now it’s AutoPilot’s turn. Only this time, when it fails, there will be no COSMIC to return to. Saul can’t cover up a c@ckup of this size. It won’t fit under the rug.

It is amazing how other bigger firms don't use COSMIC and can magically image desktops and laptops without it.
How is this possible without the magic COSMIC?
Oh yeah. They didn't waste time on convoluted solutions like Wells Fargo has. It just exposes the lack of competence in that department.

If you can't image a NUC, you are an id--t who isn't qualified to work at Geek Squad.
It also shows you know nothing about how the network is set up. You can't just hop on the WIFI network or plug into a LAN drop with any device. There are security measures in place preventing this.
But you'd know this if you had a real IT job instead of spending your day replacing keyboards.
