There was a re-org last year where VZC engineering now is part of GN&T, whereas operational, sales, product and UX teams are still part of VBG.

So will be interesting to who is getting the RIF

AT&T used to use Telogis to track their vehicles, a Verizon owned product, and then had to come up with their own out of sheer embarrassment.

@1mhq+1lQoYEKX Scratch the hundreds of thousands, it’s actually 1.9million connections. At an average revenue of $25/mo, conservatively, that’s an awful lot of revenue. Light travels faster than sound, that’s why sometimes it’s just best to keep quiet so people just think you might not be bright rather than speaking and proving it.

@1mhq+1lQoYEKX you realize that Connect is more of a VBG product than consumer, right? It’s not just Hum, hundreds of thousands of our business customers track vehicles and equipment with Connect. Just because you might not use it doesn’t mean it’s a worthless product….

I think they are interested in VZ Connect, the fleet management group that was built of of VZ acquisitions of Fleetmatics, Telogis and Hughes telematics.

Vz voice connect is a fixed wireless device for your home phone. Instead of having ur landline on 50 year old copper cables.

I think it's a team that provides support for the fleet and workers who are client facing and traveling to do installs or whatever. So like the software and system support behind all of that, I believe. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong
