Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

How many Csuite. VPs or even directors will be rif’d

I’m guess zero. And unless there are some sacrifices on the director side. Just use commoners will be shown the door. How the Sweed We don’t Need is still here after another horrible quarter is beyond me.

Really? You are exonerating Hans. He had a long time to correct any wrongs that existed before him. He did nothing. He went for the ill advised 5 Gee UW and now is behind TMobile in 5G coverage? Unfortunately not many need those high speeds and coverage is low even if you want it

everyone is blaming Hans ,but he is just a scapegoat. lowell mcadams is the one who messed this company up and then jumped ship with his golden parachute before they could put the blame on him.

They are just running out the clock on Manon's contract instead of paying her to leave.

@1uix+1lQtFTiY "Why is Manon on the org chart?" -
According to her LinkedIn profile, Manon's current role is EVP Strategic Advisor for Verizon Exiting CEO VCG, which she has held since December 2022. Although this appointment was not formally announced within the company, it appears that there may have been a means of rehiring a highly compensated executive through a backdoor channel. This shows uncertainty within the organization.

What do you get when you never fire directors on up? A top heavy organization. Every study has shown that since these levels do not do the real work they, by definition, lower the ACTUAL productivity of an organization. Did none of the C Suite or HE go to business school? Are all of the consulting firms we hire too chicken sh-t to tell them? Or do they know it, but don't have the ba--s to get rid of some of their own?

All these execs can choke on di-ks. They talk in their stupid business north star language thinking they are smart but it's completely a-s. FIRE THEM NOW and get some serious savings.

Sweden is possibly the major player in world events. But of course from behind the scenes. Ericsson may have invented cryptography, its no surprise hans is Swedish. Even Manon is still employed, I thought she got demoted but she's still cashing paychecks.

None which is weird since the current round of layoffs seems to be targeted at teams that have high salary vs need and/or performance. Imagine if they actually got rid of the 10% with poor performers or high salaries C-Suite? They’d make their savings quote in a heartbeat.

Those levels do not get Rif. They only either get promoted or a retirement package.
