@8fwk+1lUGKFAQ you're a troll and an id--t. Model e is a revenueless joke. Blue is keeping the company afloat. Both week have layoffs very soon.

Be patient, Ford is slow at doing everything. The outsourcing negotiations quietly continue for IT operations/infrastructure areas. The initial draft stipulated that all the Ford employees must be transferred to the outsource company at the same salary and retained for two years. That has changed as the outsource company did not want a two year burden of tons of unproductive employees. The last draft was 6 months retention.

One thing for sure Farley has instilled fear in the management tree and press leaks are few. Not like the days of old.

No more layoffs in 2023. We would know if something was coming. I am in Model e and we are rock solid right now. I even hear that Ford Blue is doing kinda alright. But I don't really talk to them much so I can't be certain.

Anyone see the McDonalds layoff actions. Quite interesting the path they took

“ McDonald’s told U.S. employees and some international staff to work from home Monday through Wednesday so the company can “communicate key decisions related to roles and staffing levels across the organization,”

IDK maybe worried about workplace violence? Or maybe they don’t want to look people in the eye when firing them? I could see Ford doing this given how much some of the LL3 complained about having to meet with people to fire them.

I dont get "The Longest Day" references. Is the invasion imminent? Is it the start of an operation? Is the underground ready to spring into action?

For those who arent war movie buffs, its from the 60's movie of the same name.

@2ltf+1lUGKFAQ Model E will go down. History has taught us any time Ford diverts from its core business it faulters. This management team has as much KARMA as a blade of grass. BORING. For BF to make a comment that this is the best team is not worth the words coming out of his mouth. His track record speaks for itself.
JF record speaks for itself. Has not accomplished anything
DF resume paints a clear picture. Lucky to stay in any one place for 3-5 years.
Glad I am out of there.. I don't like KOOL AID.

No layoffs this week I heard of. If anything, we need more high tech workers to support Ford+ transformation plan.

I work in Model e.

John Dion starts on April 3. What he will do we do not know. We could see a major shake up to the C suite, who knows.

Obvious, something is not right, everyone is quiet and jittery. Witnessing alot of my colleagues being pulled off assignments. Not sure if its another round of involuntary separations or PIPs leading to terminations but somethings not right.
What's worse is an increase in hiring in areas that avoid interaction. Not sure what DFord has done but there's alot of jobs listed!
