Predictions for promotions this year?

They haven't ruled it out but they've been very vague "we're still figuring out what promotions look like in a zero merit environment yada yada"

I reckon these are some options they could go with:

Anyone heard anything? I'm not expecting one myself but I'd hope next year isn't a huge backlog of candidates competing for them

Well it was confirmed now to managers it's #1

It's the old managers trick - give titles instead of money with the "you need to do the job for a year before you get the reward" line.

It's the usual. Promotions for the politically connected only.

Its #1, that's what was announced.

For key talent expect retention bonus and/or large Stock grants that incentivize hanging around.

You don’t want a promo in a down year, hope for a push out to 2024.
