Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

What is LCS?

Could be an appropriate acronym for (a home for) Lowly Cunning Snakes?

Looking to find the answers from the wise ones for the following:

Why is there so much make believe effort like LCS which is deliberately staffed with incompetents and liars. They won't get anything done but proudly tout success on social media until the big bosses find it useful to create a distraction in public eye. A decade or so on after masquerading, they will eventually shut it down.
Where did the genuine, technically knowledgeable employees with integrity dissappear at EM?

Biggest money grab in history. Redistribution of any remaining wealth from individuals to massive profit generating corporates. Corrupt beyond understanding.

Windfall Tax for LCS
What do you think the chances are that once the treasury starts sending big checks of taxpayer money to ExxonMobil for carbon capture the politicians won’t decide a windfall profit tax is needed to clawback the money? See what is going on in Germany with windfall tax in wind energy. You can’t trust the government to send you taxpayer money as a source of your profits.

Answer from OpenAI GPT-3:

“Given the current political climate, it is highly likely that politicians will impose a windfall profit tax on ExxonMobil if they begin to receive large amounts of taxpayer money for carbon capture. This is due to the increased scrutiny of large corporations and the trend of governments wanting to recoup some of the money they provide to these companies. The example of Germany’s wind energy sector is a clear indication that governments are willing to impose a windfall profit tax in order to recoup some of the funds that they have provided. Therefore, it is highly likely that a windfall profit tax will be imposed on ExxonMobil if they receive taxpayer money for carbon capture.”

Low Carbon Solutions was created as a separate company so that we can track our capital allocated to sustainability, our net income from carbon capture and storage (CCS), green and blue hydrogen, and renewable fuels.

We can only hope that government subsidies around the world will make LCS a positive cash flow. With government subsidies, LCS will be a regretted investment.

Everyone in LCS from geoscience has been a tool, leg humper, glorified power pointer, and/or failed exec.
It’s the band that can’t shoot straight.

Algae for a decade = Lick’ Coxk Scrotu. = LCS

Said better in the movie Full Metal Jacket:

  • Gunnery Sgt. Hartman: "I bet you're the kind of guy that would f-ck a person in the a-s and not even have the godda-n common courtesy to give him a reach-around. I'll be watching you."
