Guyana nationalization?

I heard of speculation from a colleague in BD about scenario testing Guyana nationalizing their oil. Seems like extra concern after their recent meetings with OPEC officials. Is this even possible, and has anyone heard additional details?

Speaking of studies I would like to see one on the risk of government handouts stopping just as LCS projects come online. Ultimate fez by government to put oil companies out of business would be a bait and switch on LCS. Mark my words they will do it. After we invest billions they will change policy leaving us with worthless investment and bankrupt.

If they are just now figuring out there are too many eggs in the Guyana basket they are less intelligent than I thought. Years ago this was begun to be discussed by the rank and file as a risk. Same geniuses used to brag about how favorable the lease terms were compared to other countries in group meetings in front of employees from Guyana. What a bunch of geniuses.

Of course it is possible. Just look at their neighbor Venezuela. One would think they would be smart enough to avoid the same fate. Or are they?
