Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF CISCO LOOKS AT THIS WEBSITE?

There are some serious allegations being made about hiring and promotion discrimination on here. Surprisingly it isn't your typical white v black people stuff. The cat is being let out of the bag or people are just fed up. Some Scary stuff being wrote/said here.

I hear from some 50+ folks (many were impacted) that there was not any early retirement package offered.

For the zero or one person left at Cisco who isn’t a complete id--t yet managed to miss the commentary on it for more than the past decade (so not the executives who tried it again) Cisco has done this in the past and they only lost the best people who were able to have a new job the following Monday while they pocketed a year’s extra income.

And no, RTP and SJ didn’t close 19 years ago, so stop posting new threads to ask about it.

Yes, there will be more layoffs, so stop posting new threads to ask about it.

No, you aren’t getting a million dollars for being PIPed after five years at Cisco, so stop posting new threads to ask about it.

No one cares about Forbes, so stop posting new threads to ask about it.

No, executives don’t care about you, so stop posting new threads to ask about it.

Companies with tens of billions in revenue don’t suddenly close when everyone leaves in protest of layoffs, so stop posting new threads to ask about it.

If anyone in executive management IS reading this website and doesn’t conclude they need to layoff far more people they themselves should be laid off.

If you feel this is the place to complain that competent people will still get bonuses you should be laid off.

If you couldn’t read many years of exactly the same stupid questions here before asking them again you should be laid off.

Age discrimination too! When is someone going to notice Cisco abuses layoffs to get around it? I hear from some 50+ folks (many were impacted) that there was not any early retirement package offered.

Cisco looks at this website; how else can you explain recurring layoffs?

Based on posts on this website many clearly believe effect (in this case frequent layoffs starting in 2001) precedes cause (this site starting in 2009.)

Honestly, who wants to have employees like us posting uneducated b/s all day.

I DO! I DO! The less time the majority of "developers" have to check in broken code the better off things will be. So what comes after CSCzz?

I used to work in HR and can confirm that HR & Legal teams pay a regular visit on this site. Don't post anything which can identify you personally, especially if you are still working at Cisco.

The real issue is Cisco laid us off during record earning and treated us horribly in the process. Then on top of that, Cisco just made Fortune Best Place to Work! WHAT???? Fortune needs to read this site!!! Cisco leadership ethics is going down the drain. How bad does it have to get before someone not impacted is going to notice?

Seems like the other huge thread discussing discrimination against non-indian was just deleted. Well that answered someone question in the thread whether or not the moderators in this website are also Indian lol

"The United States government already sued Cisco for caste based discrimination."

Another round coming. This time with much more. Legal is arrogant due to past victories. Made a big mistake.

This site allows employees to provide information on a company without the corporate filter or spin.

This website also shows the sheer amount of uneducated employees working for Cisco.

Please excuse my ignorance but does that lawsuit include non-Indian people? That seems to be the problem now.
