This was in the news 2021 and regurgitated summer last year. Old news I’m afraid.

SJ is so yesterday. East coast is where it's at. RTP would be perfect for HQ. Lower costs, clean power without the threat of rolling brownouts, no homeless camps or campus crime. Better in every way.

This rumor is coming from the fact that Chuck Robbins is now listed as working out of Atlanta. the CFO and WW VP of Sales both live in Atlanta as well...who knows...could be true

I'll believe it when I see it! RE: Private Jets - Chambers bought his own, Robbins does not own one.

From Yahoo Finance back in '08: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ceo-cisco-bills-company-flies-211211166.html

Many big tech companies, like HP and IBM, keep fleets of private jets to fly their executives around in convenience, safety and style. But at Cisco, CEO John Chambers works it in reverse.

He owns his own jet and then he sends Cisco a bill when he uses it for work, which he presumably does a lot.

In 2013, he billed Cisco $2.8 million in jet expenses, according to forms filed with the SEC. (http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/858877/000119312513384911/d569445ddef14a.htm)

I'm betting CR has Cisco lease him one for when he flies so he doesn't have to rub elbows with the rest of the masses, but I've never heard a peep about him owning his own private jet.

... Chuck now lives full time in Atlanta ... and commutes to SJ on Cisco’s private jet when needed

Cisco doesn't have a private jet. I think Chambers had one, and he expensed his travel after 2008 to Cisco. I wouldn't doubt that Cisco leases a private jet, or that Chuck may lease one and expense it to Cisco, but Cisco doesn't own a private jet.

Atlanta used to be one of the worst cities in America for the workday commute. There was even a 60 minutes episode about it. Wonder if it has gotten any better?

Confirmed that Chuck now lives full time in Atlanta suburbs in an exclusive golf course community and commutes to SJ on Cisco’s private jet when needed

Gov. Brian Kemp hinted at a move on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” saying that CEO Chuck Robbins showed him his Georgia driver’s license.

Could be truth to this

Chuck said this is not happening on a check in. The elt is d-mb, but not d-mb enough to put more eggs in the south country bumpkins’ basket.
