Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Sweet Retiring? Rats leaving

Did I just hear in Doug's all-hands that Sweet is going too?

If so, what do 'they' know that we are not party to?

Schmitt comes from a moneyed background, he’s never going to have to worry about putting gas in the car or his mortgage. If you Google the salaries of the Dell top execs you’ll see the multi million dollar compensation packages these folks are on. It’s just immoral at a time when people are losing jobs etc.

Howard Elias hung around until he couldn’t take it anymore.

Doug came across like a complete rat who has no understanding of the team he supports. Had an attitude about WFR commenting that it’s 70 percent of the questions. How could a leader be so unprepared for what is clearly top of everyone’s mind. Time to blow up the leadership group and not the hard working employees. Get some new ideas and proper leadership before Dell falls apart

Tom Sweet(CFO) & Howard Elias(President Services)both left recently. Howard was one last top EMC brass left.

He sure danced around the layoffs, it’s was nice that he confirmed some would get raises. Bunch of blah, blah, blah.
