Prod Solutions will be toast in the new model. Too much overhead for too little benefit. Divestment will continue to reign until the highest margin plants only remain. No colocated Chem plant, no future in the xom mothership.

Those geniuses have bigger fishes to fry. They won't waste their time on such “minor” details... Interesting to note that we start seeing the effects of this transformation. The Energy Products Senior VP in Product Solutions just announced the reduction of the number of tribs worldwide from 13 to 6.
So, this is “not about headcount reduction”? Hmm... Interesting.
