Transmission has been a poorly lead group full of nepotism for a long time. Their Quality LL2 doesn’t even have a masters degree. Got promoted for hiding and doing nothing to fix known quality issues for years. Horrible leader who has torn apart groups with no management insight.
Some issues can't be fixed with a OTA update.

This can only be fixed by changing the name of the component to something like: "post-engine rotational multiplier unit" and then Ford can say they no longer have transmission problems.
Ford is a dumpster fire for sure right now. But that article doesn't say production has shut down for those models (yet), only that they can't sell them a siginificant number of them.
