What would you do? AM will expect transition

Im talking about this friday. If you got surplused, then your AM will expect for a transition.

I guess me, ill take all my vacation until the 3rd. I really don't care about the 6 days payment conversion from March to December.

"I’d sabotage all my stuff"......Exactly why your AM needs to step in and take control. Folks like this, just need to leave the business.

If you actually had a manager that cared, they would do the following. I would not expect the impacted employee to transition their job, that is the AM jobs. Would not require them to attend any meetings and perform minimal work while they are searching for a new job internally/externally. Definitely would not have them waste any Vacation since this time will get paid out. These next 14 days are stressful enough, be respectful and supportive to those impacted.

"Do you want to be able to get rehired or do you you not care. Careful think about that. Your actions do have consequences"

If a company that I've invested half my working life into wants to cut me off at the knee and toss me aside because they just consider me an expense...I say F you then.

There is no way in he-l I would go back to work for somebody that treated me like that...

Why are you directing your anger at your manager? They had nothing to do with this surplus. This is all Stevenson/Stankey/Stevens. They are the ones that ignored business cases and just “knew better” than anyone else. They squandered BILLIONS of CASH and we are now left to pay the bills. Trust me. Your manager wishes you were going to be here months from now… when you are gone… but the work remains…

You only have 4 accrued days of vacation as a manager. Also, you will not get authorized to take vacation for your last two weeks. You may not get your severance if you do not comply.

Do not, I repeat, do not indulge them. They seriously disrespected you. When you hired on they lead you to believe this was going to be a "cradle to grave" job. Here you are today getting kicked to the curb. They will try to sweet talk you, don't fall for it, you owe them nothing.

Tell them you tested Covid positive and have to isolate for 10 days

I’d be on “vacation” but not “use” it in Infor. I want to get paid for the earned days. They’ve taken so much already like pre-Medicare medical, so only fair. I would help the person backfilling if they’re a friend.

It could be possible that they keep people on the payroll till the 3rd, but march them out the door upon turning in their company equipment.
